Dana Barbra Reichart, of the 1300 block of Barnett Street, pleaded guilty this week to theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespassing and possession of methamphetamine, per the report. Her plea agreement with Judge Thomas C. Branca will put Reichart on three years’ probation after her release, per court documents.

According to police, a reported burglary occurred on the 1000 block of Creek Drive in the early morning hours of June 19, 2022. Homeowner video surveillance showed Reichart opening an enclosed fence at 4:10 a.m., covering herself with a gray blanket and peering into the home through the sliding glass door, police said.

Eventually, police found the door to the attached shed pried open, and two bikes, a circular saw, a cordless drill, a generator, and other tools were missing, per the report.

Two days later, at 1:48 a.m., Reichart was caught again at the same home on the Ring camera, police said. A neighbor also called police to report a suspicious person on their property. Reichart was stopped in her car leaving the area, where evidence — including methamphetamine and the gray blanket  — were found, police said.
