One person is dead and another is injured after an early-morning fire in Upper Dublin Township.
Area fire companies were dispatched to the 900 block of Bellaire Avenue at 4:13 a.m. for a report of a building fire with entrapment. According to Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania, arriving crews encountered heavy fire from the rear of the home, with firefighters pulling two residents from the home.
One of the residents, whose identity is currently unknown, has died, according to a report by 6ABC. A second victim, identified by FOX29 as a man in his 30s, was taken to an area hospital and their current condition is unknown.
The fire has since been placed under control, but the scene remains active as of 8:45 a.m., according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, FOX29 reports.
