Area fire companies are currently at the scene of a residential fire at a home under construction in Lower Gwynedd Township.
Crews were dispatched to the scene along the 1300 block of Gypsy Hill Road at 6:29 p.m. on April 17 for a report of a building fire. Arriving personnel encountered a fire with dispatch indicating the basement and first floor were "well involved."
There is no report of injuries at this time, though the Montgomery County Department of Public safety shows one emergency medical unit being dispatched to the scene.
The scene is currently active, and residents are encouraged to avoid the area.
Responding units include Lower Gwynedd Police, Wissahickon Fire Company, North Penn Fire Company, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, and other area agencies.
