Wissahickon High School named third best in Montgomery County by U.S. News and World Report

Wissahickon School District is excited to announce that Wissahickon High School (WHS) has been ranked among the top 4% of high schools in the nation and one of the best in the state by U.S. News and World Report. WHS was ranked 686 out of 18,000 high schools nationally, 16th best in Pennsylvania and third best in Montgomery County.

U.S. News calculates a numerical ranking of nearly all public high schools nationwide based on multiple sources of objective data.

The Best High School rankings are those schools whose students demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading and science state assessments, as well strong performance among under-served students; earned qualifying scores on an array of college-level exams; and graduated in high proportions.
