On Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., through Aug. 27, the Temple University Ambler Campus-based Ambler Arboretum offers a “Storytime for Little Listeners.” Wissahickon Now stopped in at the first event on Aug. 13, to share in the fun reading and activity.

All ages are welcome to attend, andStorytime for Little Listeners is described as a "low-intensity" and its website notes that duration will vary slightly depending on the morning's story and planned activity. Gravel pathways lead up to the Bright Memorial Pavilion, which is where the group will convene for the duration of the summer. Story time will run, rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather!
The exact location is at the Bright Memorial Pavilion. (Parking is located in Parking Lot 1, directly across Meetinghouse Road.) According to Arboretum staff, severe weather, such as downpours and thunderstorms, will require cancellation.
