If you are seeking some local fun, This Week Now offers events spanning the coming week: Monday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 25. There is plenty to do right in our own communities. Check out some of the fun for all ages with these upcoming happenings:

Korean Culture Camp is slated from Monday, Aug. 19 to Friday, Aug. 23 at the Montgomery County Community College, at 340 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell. Children in first through sixth grades are welcome to learn more about the Korean culture, with folk games, Taekwondo, K-pop music, and dances. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has a cost of $330. For more information, email the program manager, Gail Allen, at hgail@kculfoundation.org.

Whitpain Township’s Parks and Rec Department will host a Movie Night with “Trolls: Band Together” showing at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the Wentz Run Park gazebo. This free event is open to all ages, as it is sponsored by Well Market at CVS. The film will begin at dusk. Families are asked to bring along blankets or lawn chairs for seating. Stop by the sponsor’s booth to grab “crave-worthy snacks,” as well as special prizes prior to the movie.

The Well Crafted Beer Company, located at Ambler Yards, 300 Brookside Ave., Building 19, in Ambler, is hosting Music Bingo on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The host, Anthony Chima, will select around 75 songs each week, sometimes with a musical theme, and sometimes whatever he’s listening to, in order to randomly play them and award prizes. The evening features great music, laughs, and songs you probably forgot all about as you attempt to win BINGO!

LeTip International, Inc. has endorsed the LeTip of Blue Bell since the fall of 2005. On Thursday mornings, the group offers a Networking Breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at Penna’s Italian Market, 545 N. Bethlehem Pike, in Lower Gwynedd Township. New members are welcome but are asked to contact the organization prior to attending. For more information, contact Josh Waters, the membership chairperson, at 215-885-8585 or email him at josh@joshwatersinsurance.com.

The Fort Washington Swim and Tennis Club, located at 1003 Farm Lane in Ambler, will be the location for the second annual Pool Party and Kanna for All fundraiser. From 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 23, the public is invited to come raise funds with 100 percent of the event’s earnings going to Kanna For All. This nonprofit aims to build “a foundation of life-long health and well-being through community-based fitness” by working with area youth. Guests are welcome to BYO snacks, picnic, and beverages (even alcohol is allowed, but no glass bottles), and each should bring something to share with the community (an appetizer, snack, or dessert). A pool workout, kids’ games, and shared snacks will be available. The donation cost is $40 per family or $20 per individual. For registration, visit the site here.

If you have a local event you’d like to feature in This Week Now, email mfinley@accessgmt.com or add your event to our “Things to Do” section here.
