With a specialization in both low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, as well as pediatric/adolescent gynecology, benign gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Hart brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.
Born in Arlington, Texas, Dr. Hart’s educational background is impressive. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Gwynedd Mercy College before graduating from Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia with her Medical Degree in 2008. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in June 2012.
Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Hart is a dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Women’s Association, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Georgia OBGyn Society, and the Medical Association of Georgia. She is committed to advancing women’s health through her involvement in these esteemed organizations.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hart is deeply committed to education and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. She serves as the Site Clerkship Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership. Her dedication to teaching is matched only by her passion for advocating for health equity, particularly concerning maternal health disparities, reproductive health policies, and improving healthcare access for the LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. Hart is also actively involved with The Yonkofa Project, a non-governmental organization focused on providing healthcare education and support to underserved populations in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. Her global health initiatives reflect her commitment to making a meaningful impact on healthcare beyond the local community.
