They will take to their corners. They will bring forth only the very best of efforts. It will be a difficult bout, but the two fighters are ready. They’ve come to win, and they won’t be backing down easily.
No, we promise, the battle will be far more entertaining than the Mike Tyson v. Jake Paul showdown. And, as an added bonus, there will be no buffering streaming slow-downs, because this match will be completely in-person.
Boxing gloves won’t be necessary as The Blue Bell Inn plays host to its second annual Wine Sommelier Smackdown on Friday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Two wine experts will face-off, going head-to-head in a restaurant rumble, and you can get “ringside seats” to take in the entire battle.
This second annual event will feature an evening complete with a five-course dinner “expertly crafted,” as you are privy to the showdown between two sommeliers, presenting their best wine pairings for each course. Dave Greenstein of Vintage Wines will face off against Mark Kauterman of Southern Wines.
Tickets for the event are $125, plus tax and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased through EventBrite here. The event is scheduled to be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Inn, 601 W. Skippack Pike in Blue Bell.
