Are you someone who considers your dog as your other child?

Then MiAmore Pet Boutique + Dog Bath in Blue Bell may be the place for you.

The new, high-end shop – located at 734B Dekalb Pike in Blue Bell within Whitpain Township – celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 10, where the store, staff and county officials were on hand as part of the festivities.

“As a township, we welcome all new businesses, said Whitpain Township Supervisor Scott Badami. “It was great to see so many friendly faces (at the opening), both pets and people. This is a pet specialty boutique, sounds like fun to me.”

According to the website, the store’s mission is to “provide the highest quality products –from comfortable apparel and durable walking gear to innovative feeding stations and adorable toys, and everything in between…You and your pet deserve more than a run-of-the-mill leash or cheap squeaky toy.”

The goal is to provide products that enhance your pet’s health, happiness, and well-being. The store does this by offering interactive enrichment toys to stimulate their senses and natural instincts. Harnesses and leashes also are available. Products have with tongue-in-cheek brand names like Chewy Vuiton, Pawda, and Gucchewi.

Aside from high-quality products and toys, the store offers a luxury self-serve dog wash. Your pup will be pampered in a relaxing, spa-type setting as opposed to splashing water all over your bathroom floor at home.

The store was founded by Sara Choi, who left her career in corporate offices to follow her passion of design and architecture. MiAmore originally started as an online side business, but now has transitioned to a full-time, brick-and-mortar store.

“We understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and we are dedicated to providing products that enhance their health, happiness, and well-being,” it states on the company website.
