A single-vehicle crash shut down a portion of Twining Road in Upper Dublin Township Sunday evening.
The crash occurred at 7:27 p.m. along the 1600 block of Twining Road and was initially dispatched as a vehicle rescue. The call was downgraded a short time later after dispatchers reported that the occupant of the vehicle was able to self-extricate.
Reports from the scene indicated a Toyota sedan suffered heavy driver’s side damage. No other vehicles were involved, and a report from Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania indicated the incident had struck a tree.
No injuries were reported.
Twining Road was closed at Dale Road due to the crash, and reopened after the scene was cleared.
Responding units included Upper Dublin Police, Fort Washington Fire Company, Horsham Community Ambulance, and the Second Alarmer’s Rescue Squad.
