Dunkin' and its greater Philadelphia-area franchisees today announced its full list of recipients receiving Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarships, which awards $100,000 in academic scholarships to high school and college students in the Greater Philadelphia Area. The program helps local students in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Kent and New Castle counties in Delaware pursue a part-time or full-time undergraduate degree at the institution of their choice.
From over 1,260 applicants, Dunkin’ and Scholarship America selected 20 students to receive a $5,000 academic scholarship to an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school of their choice for fall 2024. Dunkin’s Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program was open to current part-time and full-time undergraduate students and high school seniors.
Congratulations to Montgomery County resident, Emily Fisher, of Ambler, Pa., from Mount Saint Joseph Academy who was named one of the recipients.
Dunkin’ awarded a total of $100,000 to the 20 recipients who were selected based on their academic records, demonstrated leadership skills, and overall commitment to their schools and local communities.
To date, the Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program has awarded $800,000 in scholarships to 360 outstanding high school seniors and college students. The program was founded in 2009 by Dunkin’s Philadelphia-area franchisees to ease the financial burden of college for students throughout the region.
"The Dunkin' Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program is part of our ongoing commitment to empowering young adults and giving them an opportunity to achieve their goals in life," said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin' Senior Field Marketing Manager. “We are proud to continue the tradition of furthering students’ educational goals in our community and help lead them to a bright future.”
The 2024 Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
