Car flips over in accident with injuries at Welsh and Lower State roads Saturday afternoon

A two-vehicle accident at Lower State Road and Route 63/Welsh Road in Horsham Township, near the border with Lower Gwynedd, resulted in one car flipping onto its roof and occupants becoming temporarily trapped in their car.

At least one person was taken to an Jefferson Lansdale Hospital via VMSC Emergency Medical Services with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to Montgomery County emergency dispatch.

Initial reports came in with two persons still trapped in a car, with one able to exit the car on their own. Then, emergency personnel followed up, stating everyone was able to get out with no entrapment.

Horsham Fire Police assisted at the scene, along with Lower Gwynedd Township Police.
