There is still plenty of summer to enjoy, despite the box-store displays edging us “Back to School.” With a few weeks remaining, you can fight the approach of fall by having some family fun with outings to local entertainment facilities.

The Whitpain Township Parks and Recreation Department aims to help families save some dough, even while splurging on some late-summer memories. The township department offers discounted tickets to many of the area’s attractions.

Tickets are available for purchase at the front of the township’s administration building, 960 Wentz Road, in Blue Bell, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. There is a $20 minimum on all credit card purchases.

Here are some of the hot ticket discounts you can get with Whitpain Township:

Movie Theaters

  • AMC Theaters: $10
  • Movie Tavern: $9.50
  • Regal/United Artists: $10
