Safety doesn’t have to be your middle name, but a keen eye for keeping those around you safe and secure would certainly help. The Wissahickon High School is currently looking for someone to do just that as a WHS Safety Specialists.
“The WHS Safety Specialist plays an integral and meaningful role in fostering a culture of safety and belonging,” explained the job description opened on Tuesday, July 23 at noon. “The specific responsibilities listed ensure that students and staff will be able to actively participate in a school learning community, where all students and staff are inspired to engage and excel to their fullest potential.”
Applications for the role will be accepted through Monday, Aug. 5 until 11:59 p.m. The position is “Class 10” in the district, and runs for 10 months of the year, while schools are in session. The pay is $32.76 per hour.

The position will report directly to the high school principal or their designee. You will be asked to supervise campus security throughout the high school and its grounds.
