The 40th annual Upper Dublin Medals Program recently honored this year’s recipients, including Gene McGonagle, of Ambler Flower Shop, for Outstanding Business; Daniel Ortiz, Outstanding Educator, as Sandy Run Middle School Principal; Art Levinowitz, Outstanding Citizen, retired Upper Dublin School Board member; and Gus Platt and Julia Axler, Outstanding Senior Students.
The ceremony was attended by 140 community members, previous medal recipients, local officials and business owners. The annual program is presented by Upper Dublin Township, Upper Dublin School District and Upper Dublin Education Foundation, which benefits from event proceeds.
