On Saturday, family and friends of Whitpain Township Firefighter John Kulick gathered in Hatboro to pay tribute to his legacy.
State Representative Nancy Guenst (PA-152) sponsored legislation to have the South Warminster Road bridge in Hatboro named in John’s honor.
John enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard in 2003 and was then summoned to active duty in late 2004. John was killed in action in August of 2005 while serving in Iraq.
Whitpain Fire Marshal David M. Camarda was at the dedication and was honored to speak about John and his role as a career firefighter at the Township from 1999 to 2005.
