Summer Concert Series to return to Lower Gwynedd

Lower Gwynedd Township Parks & Recreation Board is once again hosting the Summer Concert Series for its residents and neighbors, scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., from June 26 to July 31.

This year, however, the events will be hosted at a new location.

“This year we have changed locations to Pen Ambler Park,” said Sandi L. Feight-Hicks, Recreation Director for the Lower Gwynedd Township. “This change is allowing for larger bands, and more parking.”

Feight-Hicks said that, with a newly installed maintenance entrance for attendees to access the event, transportation should run more smoothly.

This summer, guests can enjoy the following line-up:

• June 26: Big Baby Band
• July 3: Don McAvoy & The Great Whatever
• July 10: Disguised as Saints
• July 17: Melissa Martin & The Mighty Rhythm Kings
• July 24: Where’s Pete?
• July 31: The Rockafillys

Guests can get more details on the events on the township’s Parks and Recreation website here. Pen-Ambler Park is located at 351 Mathers Road. Special event parking will be available off of Pen-Ambler Road only on the evenings of the concerts. Directional signs and staff will be on hand to assist in parking.
