Senator Maria Collett has announced over $2.875 million in CFA Multimodal Transportation Fund grants to restore aging infrastructure and improve traffic safety in her district.

Senator Maria Collett has announced over $2.875 million in CFA Multimodal Transportation Fund grants to restore aging infrastructure and improve traffic safety in her district.

“Transportation infrastructure investments are key to maintaining safe, walkable communities,” Senator Collett said. “I am proud to have secured this funding for improvement projects across my district that will enhance pedestrian safety, reduce traffic congestion, and boost our local economy.”

Multimodal Transportation Fund grant recipients in the 12th District include:

  • Ambler Lakeview Development, LP - $504,754 for sidewalk and roadway work along North Maple Avenue in Ambler Borough.
  • Hatfield Township - $393,750 for roadway and sidewalk improvements to support the development of a new police facility.
  • Lower Moreland Township - $433,442 to construct sidewalks along Byberry Road.
  • Montgomery Township - $210,986 to install a Rectangular Rapid-Flashing Beacon on Stump Road.
  • PREIT Associates LP - $435,312 to reconfigure access roads to the Plymouth Meeting Mall.
  • Upper Moreland Township - $897,375 to rehabilitate the Maryland Road bridge.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) Multimodal Transportation Fund awards grants for the development, rehabilitation, and enhancement of transportation assets to support economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to residents across the Commonwealth. Applications are accepted annually between March 1 and July 31.
