Things just got more golden for the girls of Upper Dublin High School.
The field fearsome foursome of Emily Kulak, Faith Castronuovo, Talia Hoffner, and Mason Kullman outdistanced all their competitors in the 4x800 relay at the PIAA Track and Field State Championships last weekend at Shippensburg University and brought home gold, according to The Daily Item.
Last season at states, the Cardinals’ Hoffner and Kullman finished second on the high school’s 4x8 team. On Saturday, per the report, Kullman had the second fastest split at 2:12.31 on two laps.
In the end, North Penn would clinch sixth in the 4x8 relay, Methacton would grab seventh with 20 points.
In the 300-meter hurdles, the Cardinals team of Hoffner, Castronuovo, Kullman and Olivia Bardo would clinch sixth place in 3:56.79, per the article.
Wissahickon High School’s Grayson Ruffner would grab fourth place for the Boys 3A 800 event, with an honor roll time of 1:52.00, according to The Daily Item, and sophomore Dominic Harvey-Sheppard attained eighth in the 300 hurdles at a time of 39.52, according to the report.
