Trump vs. Harris Odds: Bet on the Presidential Election (Updates)

  • Government

Trump vs. Harris odds are tightening across election betting sites like Kalshi, PredictIt, and Polymarket.

Republican Donald Trump has been a heavy favorite to beat Democrat Kamala Harris until recently.

A few days ago, Trump was 65% versus Harris 35%. Now that the polls are open, the race is neck-and-neck, with Trump currently holding a 58% to 42% lead at 2:15 p.m. on Election Day.

Harris quickly became a small favorite over the weekend, albeit for a moment. Trump regained the lead and saw it grow early Monday morning, up to as high as 57%. Things slipped throughout the day on Monday, but Trump's lead again climbed on Tuesday. Still, the Presidential race is basically a coin flip.

More Harris vs. Trump Odds Notes

Here are some tips and notes to remember as you try to decide whether to bet on Trump or Harris.

  • While Kalshi odds show the race close to 50/50 — a virtual coin flip — Polymarket still favors Trump closer to 55% while putting Harris at 45%. Unfortunately, you can’t bet on Polymarket if you’re in the United States, so we’re betting on Kalshi.

  • There is, however, another place where Americans can bet on Trump vs. Harris: PredictIt. PredictIt’s Trump vs. Harris odds favor Harris by 55%, putting Trump at 45%. (Click here sign up and get a $20 bonus on PredictIt)

  • It’s important to remember that the winner of the popular vote isn’t always the winner of the election. This is why Harris is a sizeable favorite to win the most votes overall but not necessarily the presidency.

  • Betting odds show a high probability of divided government, as the most likely “Balance of Power” outcome is a Democrat president, Democrat House, and Republican Senate (34%). If you believe that a Republican Senate is strongly correlated with Trump winning the presidency, then you might find more value in betting on a Republican Sweep (32%), paying out over 2-to-1 odds.
