One Phoenixville man is going to prison after stabbing a former co-worker during an incident at a Whitemarsh Township restaurant back in 2023.
According to a report by Carl Hessler Jr. in the Main Line Times & Suburban, Rolando Carlinto Gordon, 34, of the 100 block of Harvest Lane in Phoenixville, was sentenced in Montgomery County Courts this week. Gordon will serve two to five years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Hessler reported.
The charges stem from an incident in November 2023 at the Bar Lucca Restaurant, which is located at 729 E. Hector St., in the Conshohocken section of Whitemarsh Township. As part of his sentence, which was accepted as a plea agreement, Gordon cannot have any contact with the man he stabbed with a pocketknife.
Other charges, including attempted murder, possessing a weapon, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and defiant trespassing were dismissed against Gordon, Hessler said, as part of his plea agreement.
