Time is running out on those hoping to become a part of the annual tradition of the Holiday Bazaar.
Each year, community residents in and around Lower Gwynedd Township look forward to the festivities at Gwynedd Mercy University when it comes time for Christmas. And this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Bazaar is no different.
Slated for Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m., this year’s tradition will again take place at the school’s Assumption Hall Walkway. The event is outdoors, so those planning to attend (or hoping to be a part of as a vendor) should be prepared for the weather.
The deadline to submit your desire to become a vendor must be received by Friday, Nov. 22. Space is limited, and not all that apply may be able to fit. Any questions about the process can be emailed to studentengagement@gmercyu.edu. Those hoping to apply before the twelfth hour can still do so via the Google Form here.
Spaces for vendors are approximately seven feet by seven feet. A total of $25 will hold the spot. Each vendor will also get two, six-foot tables and two chairs for their space. Electricity and internet, however, are not provided.
The event is to include only those selling new or handcrafted items. There is no allowance for garage sale stands. Direct sale vendors are welcome, but the event will only allow for one vender per product line.
Gwynedd Mercy University’s event will be hosted at 1325 Sumneytown Pike in Gwynedd Valley. For more information, call 215-641-5565.
