While Mother Nature did not seem to want to cooperate, the Whitpain Township Community Festival carried on, dodging raindrops throughout the day's events. A petting zoo, bounce houses, and a pumpkin patch kept the youth entertained, though electrical issues prevented the day's musical plans from completion.

Some of the planned live musical acts were unable to perform, as technical issues prevented the equipment from safely operating. Despite the challenges, there were still plenty of happy visitors enjoying a fall day, no matter how damp it became.

Take a look at the photos from this community event, which was held on the grounds of Montgomery County Community College on Saturday, Sept. 28.
