A vehicle accident was called into Montgomery County Dispatch on Thursday evening around 7:36 p.m. in the area of Dreshertown Road at Virginia Drive, in Upper Dublin Township.
First responders were on the scene Thursday evening tending to an accident that had Dreshertown Road’s northbound lanes closed after a large, black motorcycle and a dark blue Subaru, four-door SUV evidently collided near the Sunoco Gas Station at the intersection.
The Community Ambulance Association of Ambler responded, to transport at least one injured party from the area. A tow truck was also waiting at the scene, though responders said that two were requested to remove both units.
The Subaru had heavy front-end damage, and the motorcycle was still on its side in the roadway, along with assorted debris from the accident. The Subaru had its airbags deployed
The Upper Dublin Township Police are assisting at the scene, as Dreshertown Road remains closed in the northbound directions. Lanes are open on the southbound side.
Driver should avoid the area as the clean-up continues after 8 p.m.
