Traffic is slowed to one lane as crews work to remove the tree.

A tree has fallen on lines in Lower Gwynedd Township, slowing traffic in the area.

Near the intersection of Penllyn Pike and Dager Road, in Lower Gwynedd Township, a tree is currently laying on lines believed to be PECO electric power lines, a witness at the scene said to WissNow.com.

As previously reported by Wissahickon Now, PECO is in the process of a multi-year process to trim trees, improve infrastructure, and install new equipment.

Traffic near Penllyn Pike and Dager is slowed to one lane, and drivers are asked to use caution in the area. Power outages may be possible in the area. A PECO outage map shows the vicinity as having a call out labeled as "Under Evaluation: Crews Dispatched" and is "pending assessment."
