Ambler Police arrest Horsham woman with fake ID, active warrants

The woman is now in Bucks County jail until a preliminary arraignment in November.

Ambler Borough Police Department recently released information on an arrest related to a fake ID.

According to police, on Aug. 6, 2024, around 3:49 p.m., the department responded to a suspicious person call on the 300 block of Valleybrook Road. Upon locating the woman, police said they reviewed a provided identification, later proven to be fake.

The Ambler police said that they were later able to identify the woman as Jamee Avellone, 38, of Horsham. Avellone had multiple active warrants for her arrest, according to reports. An additional warrant was issued for Avellone, police said, who was arrested on Sept. 20.
Reports state that Avellone is in jailed in Bucks County Correctional Facility, awaiting arraignment. Unrelated court documents showed Avellone was wanted in Philadelphia County for retail theft. She is awaiting a preliminary hearing on Nov. 6 at noon.
