As we recently reported, Montgomery County has nearly recovered employment rates, back to a pre-pandemic level. According the Pennsylvania Center for Workforce Information and Analysis, numbers for the county for July of 2024 show an unemployment rate of 2.7%, which is lower than the state’s 3.4% average.
The 472,900 reported employed workers in Montgomery County are all working, in large part, thanks to the county’s top employers. The state issues a quarterly report for each of its 67 counties. As of 2024’s first quarter, here is a list of those that employ the most workers in Montco!
