Multiple emergency crews from the area were called out to the 3200 block of East Bruce Drive in Dresher at 3 a.m. to tend to a house fire, according to Fort Washington Fire Company Chief Andrew Rathfon.

Flames destroyed the garage and part of the top of the home. The fire extended to the adjacent property and melted siding on the house next door, according to Chief Rathfon.

“There was a carport on the lefthand side of the house that is attached to the garage," Chief Rathfon said. "There were two vehicles in the driveway, they were both involved in the fire."

According to Rathfon, there were no injuries sustained to the family inside the house or fightfighters.

“There was a family of four living in the house," he said. "When we got there, we were advised by police that everyone was out of house.”

Emergency crews from Edge Hill Fire Company, Roslyn Fire Company, Upper Moreland Fire Department, Abington Fire Company, Oreland Fire Company, Weldon Fire Company, and Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro.
