Lower Gwynedd Township is in the process of revising its Comprehensive Plan to guide the community's development through the next 20 years.
Lower Gwynedd's 2045 Comprehensive Plan reflects the community's long-range goals and adapts to its evolving needs.
In October 2024, the township hosted a public open house to gather feedback on various aspects of the plan. Residents were invited to review detailed recommendations and provide input. Now, through a survey, residents are asked for their input once again.
The township would like to know from its residents on how connected they feel to the Lower Gwynedd community. It is asking questions pertaining to their favorite restaurant or bar, how they connect with others in the community, how well they know their neighbors, if they have a favorite park, place of worship, or community center, as well as ways to enhance social opportunities in the community.
The survey in total is made up of three questions with opportunities for written responses.
A draft vision statement was previously developed by the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, outlining the township's wishes for 2045. These efforts are part of a initiative to update the township's planning documents, ensuring they reflect current community values and future objectives.
