A fire has broken out in an apartment unit at the Sherry Lake Apartments located at 1801 Butler Pike, in Whitemarsh Township, according to Montgomery County Dispatch.
Emergency crews from Whitemarsh Community Ambulance responded to the scene on Friday morning at 10:08 a.m. Crews are currently assessing the situation.
According to a witness, the fire was visible on a patio of one of the apartments on the Butler Pike side of the complex.
Expect traffic delays in the area of Maple Drive and Kirk Street.
