It’s Tuesday again, don’t forget to treat yourself to some fun this week. Just a short drive away, downtown Philadelphia is the perfect setting for a special night out. Whether you are looking for a night of belly laughs, or one filled with music, we bring you the best tickets in town.

The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse at The Mann

On Tuesday, August 5, 7 p.m., alternative rock favorites, The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse will be rocking out the TD Pavilion at The Mann Center for Performing Arts.

Formed in 1983, The Flaming Lips are icons of the American alternative rock music scene. They are joining forces with Modest Mouse, also rock powerhouses, for a special musical journey.

Friko is a special guest on the tour.

Nate Bargatze at Wells Fargo Center

On Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, 7 p.m., “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” Nate Bargatze will be bringing his unique brand of humor to the Wells Fargo Center.

Bargatze is a Grammy-nominated comedian, author, podcaster, director and producer. He has hosted Saturday Night Live twice.

Lisa Lisa at TD Pavilion at The Mann

On Friday, August 8, 7 p.m., 80’s music and fashion icon Lisa Lisa will be bringing her 40th anniversary tour to the TD Pavilion at The Mann Center for Performing Arts.

Lisa Lisa of the 80’s supergroup Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam was the first Puerto Rican/Latino artist to cross over to the Pop and R&B charts.

Featured guests include Exposé, Color Me Badd, The Jets, Montell Jordan and The Sugarhill Gang.
