The Wissahickon School District has several openings for the upcoming school year. 

The job openings span the entire district as Wissahickon is looking to fill roles at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. 

District-wide, Wissahickon is searching for a custodian for the evening shift. Those job duties include general maintenance and operation of his/her respective building and grounds, the care and protection of equipment, supplies and other school property, making minor repairs and all other duties as assigned.  The custodians are also classified as Emergency Personnel.

It is a full-time position with a salary of $27.04 per hour.

BLUE BELL ELEMENTARY

Teacher, Special Education, Emotional Support

The primary function of this role is to plan and implement instruction and/or adaptation of the education program to enable students to benefit from education experiences; to develop or modify curricula and prepares lessons and other instructional materials according to the ability levels, disabilities, and impairment of students to initiate and reinforce learning.             

This is a full-time position within the elementary school level.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Co-Curricular - Choral Assistant (Yearlong) 

The primary function of this role is to assist the vocal music director in all facets of the vocal program, including concerts and performances. Provide an enriching choral experience and encourage students to be able to sing in concert intonation using vocal placement and breathing techniques while attaining a structured and current repertoire of choral music. Assist in direction of the rehearsals and concerts, supervise at all meetings, programs and special events. Keep inventory of all equipment and materials owned by the district.
