‘Quixotic Professor Qiu’ at InterAct Theatre
The latest play at the InterAct Theatre Company @ The Drake is based on real life cases of Chinese American scientists being targeted by the FBI and their colleagues for potential economic espionage.
Written by Damon Chua and directed by Chongren Fan, the “Quixotic Professor Qui” follows a fictitious math professor as he is investigated by the FBI while also trying to maintain close bonds with a childhood friend in China.
The show is running until Sunday, February 23 at the InterAct Theatre Company @ The Drake.

Foster the People at The Fillmore
Alternative rock band Foster the People is coming to Philadelphia on Friday, Feb. 21, at 8 p.m.
The band had its first big hit in the summer of 2011 with “Pumped Up Kicks” and just released its fourth album, Paradise State of Mind, last year.
Philadelphia is just one stop on the international tour to celebrate the release of their new album.

Killebrew vs. Conquest at Punch Line Comedy Club
Stand-up comedians Reggie Conquest and Lawrence Killebrew will engage in a battle of laughs at the Punch Line Comedy Club on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m.
Reggie Conquest is a New York stand-up comic, actor and writer. In 2019, he was named a “New Face” at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and has appeared on TruTV and Comedy Central.
Philly native Lawrence is a comedian, actor and entrepreneur who has shared the stage with Kevin Hart and Kat Williams.
