 Whether you are looking for something fun to do with the whole family or are in dire need for a date with yourself, there are plenty of fun activities planned for the week in the Philadelphia region,

The Lansdale Dining District is hosting its Restaurant Week so make some room in those tummies for a diverse array of fine cuisine. Plant lovers can learn how to help succulents grow at a special Adopt a Succulent event at the Evansburg Vineyards in Collegeville.

Love to hit the dance floor to burn off some steam? Don’t miss local sensations the Buzzer Band at Swig night club in Warrington. The Philly Keys will also be having their own jam session at Gypsy Blu this week.

The week also includes a skating session for the whole family, a night of laughs, a special celebration of filmmaker David Lynch and a fundraiser for Horsham VFW Post.


‘What’s That Smell?! Comedy Show’ at 1910 Bar & Grille

On Saturday, Mar. 1, at 8:30 p.m., the 8th edition of the “What’s That Smell?! Comedy Show” will have you laughing all night long.

Held at the 1910 Bar & Grille in Jenkintown, the comedy show will be hosted by Mario Colavita with headliner Connor King. The star-studded lineup will also include Jake Lipinsky, Savion Jewett, Preach and Romy Rosner.

Guests will also be able to enjoy live music before the show and a DJ afterwards. The bar will be open until 2 a.m.

Lansdale Restaurant Week

From Monday, Feb. 24 through Mar. 2, the Lansdale Dining District is celebrating its 2025 Restaurant Week. Revisit some of your favorite establishments and explore some new culinary masterpieces too.

Some of the participating restaurants include El Limon Mexican Taqueria at 314 Madison St., Cardinal Hollow Winery at 1830 West Point Pike, Main Street Pizza & Brewery at 328 W. Main St., and White Jasmin Thai Cuisine at 5 W. Main St.

Adopt a Succulent with Ambler Flower Shop

On Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m., the Ambler Flower Shop in conjunction with Evansburg Vineyard is hosting a special adoption event for plant lovers.

At the “Adopt a Succulent” event, the Ambler Flower Shop will walk guests through the adoption process which includes selecting a succulent and creating an inviting home for it in a specially prepared pot. All new parents will receive an adoption certificate for their new little one.

For $59, guests will be provided with all materials, a glass of wine and an appetizer of their choice.

Buzzer Band at Swig Nightclub

On Friday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m., dance party show band Buzzer Band will be performing at Swig Nightclub in Warrington.

Local sensation Buzzer Band will keep everyone dancing with the sounds of classic rock, disco, pop, and country. There will be a $10 cover.

Dueling Pianos with The Philadelphia Keys at Gypsy Blu

On Friday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m., come experience the unique sound of the Dueling Pianos with The Philly Keys upstairs at Gypsy Blu.

The tristate area band creates big sound with a smaller number of musicians by combining dueling pianos, live guitars, and customized tracks. This special night at the Gypsy Blu will include song requests and sing along songs.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Horsham VFW Post

On Sunday, Mar. 2, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., VFW Post 9788 Auxiliary is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Enjoy a delicious meal of spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread and dessert. No reservations required.

Diners can eat in or take out. The Post Bar will be open for the purchase of beverages.

FELS Family Skate at Philly Skateplex

On Saturday, Mar. 1, at 10 a.m., Federation Early Learning Services is hosted a special family skate session at Philly Skateplex in Northeast Philadelphia

Twin Peaks Day at Ambler Theater

On Monday, Feb. 24, the Ambler Theater will be celebrating the life and works of filmmaker David Lynch.

Best known for his tv series Twin Peaks which opened with the murder of high school student Laura Palmer, Lynch made his start in Philadelphia in 1977 with the film, ERASEHEAD.

Lynch who loved to explore the darkness in people and society was known for incorporating elements of surrealism and magical realism into his work.

To celebrate his impact of the film industry, Ambler Theater will be showing the 1992 prequel to Laura Palmer’s story: Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me.
