Ambler-based Art in the Age of Spirits will be bringing its locally produced product to a larger market, including stores in Ambler and Flourtown.
According to an article in the Philadelphia Business Journal, the company’s Siege of Wolves Spiced Rum and its Dunce Bourbon Whiskey are now officially on the shelves in ten local Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores including those in Philadelphia, Flourtown, Doylestown, Ambler, and Ardmore. The company hopes to soon add five retail locations of their own, with permits for Pennsylvania distilling licensing, in 2025. The spaces have not yet been named.
The spirit distillers opened a brick-and-mortar in Old City Philadelphia in 2008. In 2023, the organization lost its licenses, forcing them to close the storefront. Now, Art in the Age of Spirits is back with a bottling plant in Ambler, secured license, and a line of new products.
Fine Wine & Good Spirits is located at 132 E. Butler Ave., in Ambler. In Flourtown, the state store is located at 1440 Bethlehem Pike. In addition to bottle sales in state stores, the spirits are also served locally in Ambler’s Forest & Main Brewing Company (33 E. Butler Ave.) and Tannery Run Brew Works (131 E. Butler Ave.), in Horsham at the Iron Abbey (680 Easton Road), in Jenkintown at both Human Robot Jenkintown (208 York Road) and The Keep Easy (747 Yorkway Place),
Art in the Age of Spirits hopes to soon go nationwide with its sales. For more information on the newly stocked products, visit the full story here.
