Are you a fan of old-time, classic films?
Gun Crazy, made in 1950, directed by Joseph H. Lewis and starring Peggy Cummins and John Dall, will be shown on Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Ambler Theater.
It will be shown in Auditorium 1.
According to the IMDB page, the movie follows two disturbed young people as they release their fascination with guns through a crime spree. The movie is famous for the long take during the film’s bank robbery scene.

General admission is $13.50; $8 for members of Ambler Theater; and $11.50 for people younger than 25 and older than 62.

This film won the 1998 Nation Preservation Board award.
The National Film Registry is meant to preserve up to 25 "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant films" each year; to be eligible, films must be at least 10 years old. Members of the Board also advise the Librarian of Congress on ongoing development and implementation of the national film preservation plan, according to its website.
