Construction crews will be in Lower Gwynedd Township to make needed repairs on the roadways.
Crews will be temporarily patching holes on McKean Road after the township has received several calls and concerns regarding the condition of the street.
According to the township, milling and overlay is scheduled for these roads this year by PennDOT, but no major repairs will be done before then. Only temporary patchwork will be executed on the roads to alleviate the concerns of residents.
Lower Gwynedd Township is urging residents to check back here for updates on the condition and construction updates.
Lower Gwynedd is responsible for repair, maintenance, and snow removal for 47 miles of roads. Each year it surveys the road conditions and develops a plan for repaving and curb replacement. In addition to township roads, approximately 4.8 miles of county and 19.80 miles of state roads run through Lower Gwynedd.
