A Philadelphia man will spend up to 10 years in prison for shooting and wounding another man during a domestic-related altercation in the Glenside section of Upper Dublin Township, according to police.
Tyrell Marquise Dixon, 34, of the 1100 block of East Sydney St., was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 4 to 10 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault stemming from an incident in November 2022 in which the victim suffered non-fatal wounds to the thigh and arm, according to police.
The shooting happened on the 3100 block of Walnut Ave. around 8:30 a.m.
According to police, Dixon pointed his gun directly at the victim and fired four to six shots at him. The victim tried to move around in different directions to avoid being hit, but suffered wounds to his arm and thigh.
