The Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association recently welcomed three new paramedics to its ranks.
WCAA’s newest members include Lieutenant Paramedic Anna Morgan, Lieutenant Paramedic Bill Mike Cagney, and Paramedic Tanner Chilson.
"Please join us and welcoming WCAAs, newest paramedics!" WCAA wrote on social media. "Over the past year these three providers have gone through extensive training and countless hours of studying. Their hard work has finally paid off and as of today, all three are our new fulltime PARAMEDICS!!!"
WCAA is looking for volunteers to join and make a difference in the community.
“While the vast majority of our ambulance personnel are paid staff, we have not lost touch with our roots as a fully-volunteer organization,” WCAA stated. “Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association offers EMS personnel (EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics) paid and volunteer opportunities. We seek motivated, enthusiastic EMS providers who enjoy knowing they can make a difference in a community-focused organization.”
About WCAA
Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association was established in 1956 with an idea and a $10 donation from a concerned township resident. The charter members Norman H. Wooley (President), A. Leon Feder (Vice President), Thomas White (Vice President), Edwin L. Anderson (Secretary), Geoffrey S. Smith Jr. (Treasurer) and A. Fred Spaeth purchased our first ambulance from Ambler using the $10 donation as a down payment.
