Whitpain Township welcomed three new employees to the township.
Whitpain’s Board of Supervisors, along with the Centre Square Fire Company, welcomed the new additions at the recent January municipal meeting.
Matt Maguire, who is serving as a part-time Deputy Fire Marshal, comes to Whitpain with decades of experience in fire and rescue services. Maguire recently retired from Lower Merion after serving for over three decades in the Fire Marshal’s office and has been a volunteer at Centre Square Fire Company for even longer.
Fire Fighters Ryan Thomas and Jim McFadden were also welcomed. They were both recently hired by the Whitpain Township as career firefighters serving with Centre Square Fire Company.
Thomas has been a firefighter since 2014 serving with a fire department in Bucks County and served for four years in the Pennsylvania National Guard. McFadden has been a firefighter since 2012 working with municipalities in Chester County.
