If you’re planning to be away from home and won’t be able to move your vehicle on your regularly scheduled street cleaning day, Ambler Borough is now offering a new, convenient solution that helps you stay in compliance, without the stress, of course.
The new Temporary Street Cleaning Permit Program allows residents to register their vehicle in advance and receive up to four free passes per year, per vehicle. These permits ensure that you won’t be penalized with a parking ticket while you're away and unable to move your vehicle for scheduled street maintenance.
Whether you’re traveling for work, taking a well-deserved vacation, or handling an emergency out of town, this program gives you peace of mind and one less thing to worry about.
To participate, simply click this link to access the online permitting system. The process is quick, easy, and completely free. Once you’ve created an account and entered your vehicle information, you can request a Temporary Street Cleaning Permit for the dates you’ll be away.
Each permit is valid for one posted cleaning day, and you can use up to four in a calendar year.
Please note that permits must be obtained in advance of the scheduled cleaning day to be valid. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to be responsive to residents’ needs while continuing to maintain safe and clean streets throughout the township.
