The Whitpain Community Festival is one of the most exciting and fun-filled events of the year, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors for a day packed with entertainment and fun.
Whitpain Township officials recently announced that this year’s festival will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Montgomery County Community College’s Blue Bell campus, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display set to music at 8:15 p.m. behind College Hall.
The event is free to attend and offers a packed schedule of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, food, and shopping.
Festivalgoers can explore a wide variety of attractions throughout the day. From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., attendees can browse the popular craft and vendor fair, enjoy the health expo, and take part in seasonal favorites like the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, pony rides, and hayrides.
Kids’ games will run from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p..m., with tickets available at $1 per game or $5 for a set of 10. Children’s inflatable rides will be available from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with options to purchase individual rides for $5 or an unlimited access wristband for $30.
A wide range of food trucks will be serving delicious fare from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while adults can relax in the 21+ beer garden, open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.
The festival also features an exciting live music lineup that begins in the early afternoon. Performers include Ants on a Log (2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.), Fort Washington School of Rock (3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.), and Andorra (5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), with the evening headliner Lima Bean Riot taking the stage from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In addition to Saturday’s festivities, the weekend kicks off with the Big Rig Roundup on Friday evening, giving children a hands-on chance to explore fire trucks, police vehicles, and public works equipment. A quiet hour from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. is included to accommodate guests with sensory sensitivities.
The festival is also an opportunity to support local businesses and community organizations. Booth space is available to craft and food vendors, with early registration (by August 31) at $50, increasing to $75 afterward. Additional booth spaces cost $25, and nonprofit organizations may reserve space for $25. Community members will also have the chance to participate in a student-led health expo and join the bone marrow registry on site, organized by Montgomery County Community College students.
Hosted in partnership by Whitpain Township and Montgomery County Community College, the Whitpain Community Festival is a highlight of the fall season. With something for everyone to enjoy, from live music and food trucks to games, inflatables, and fireworks, it’s a can’t-miss event for residents and visitors alike.
