Residents and nature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore the scenic trail systems of Whitpain Township by participating in a series of guided nature walks.
Led by local ecological expert John Cassel, these educational and leisurely walks offer a unique chance to connect with the township’s parks and learn about the diverse plant life that thrives within them, including native, non-native, and invasive species.
Whether you're a seasoned nature enthusiast, a curious beginner, or just looking for a relaxing way to spend time outdoors, these walks are open to everyone. And yes, that includes your leashed, well-behaved dogs.
Walks will be taken at a comfortable pace, covering approximately one to two miles, and will last about an hour. Pre-registration is required to participate.
