Reginald K. Colzie, 48, of Philadelphia, faces a felony charge of retail theft stemming from an incident at GIANT in Whitemarsh Township, according to police.
A loss prevention officer from GIANT, located at 10 Ridge Pike in the Whitemarsh Shopping Center in Conshohocken, walked into the Whitemarsh Township Police Department to report an incident of theft.
According to the loss prevention officer, on June 4 at 11:02 a.m., a bald, black male in his mid- 40’s with a gray/black beard and tattoos on his forearm, wearing a Space Jam t-shirt, blue jeans, and tan/white shoes, entered the store with a large shopping cart.

The suspect then placed numerous rolls of toilet paper in the cart, on top of the meat and seafood. The suspect then walked to the front of the store to ask an employee a question, then walked to the west side entrance of the store and walked out to the parking lot without paying for the items.
The Meat Manager yelled at the suspect to leave the cart, which the suspect complied, and then drove away.
According to police, the suspect attempted to take 31 items without paying, totaling $479.00.
On June 17, the Plymouth Township Police Department informed Whitemarsh police that it was investigating a similar theft incident at Home Depot, 200 Alan Wood Road in Conshohocken, which involved the same suspect.
