The Black Reserve Bookstore recently hosted its annual Re-Up on School Supplies event, a community-driven initiative that provides free school supplies to those in need.
The mid-year event, which is sponsored in part by The Ambler Branch of the NAACP, brought together numerous emergency responders and and local agencies. It supports students and promote the importance of education for families in the community
Officers from Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department, Whitpain Township Police Department, Hatfield Police Department, Lansdale Borough Police Department, Upper Gwynedd Police Department attended the event.
"This is a great event that we are happy to have been a part of," wrote the Whitpain Township Police Department. "RE-UP provides school children in the area with school supplies, mid school year. Thank you Shaykh Anwar Muhammad for having us at the Black Reserve Book Store, sponsored in part by the Ambler Branch of the NAACP."
The Black Reserve Bookstore was founded in 2017 and sells, comics, apparel, jewelry, art, oils, butters, incense, soaps, etc.
