The Upper Dublin Police Department is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join its ranks as police officers.
As the township continues to grow, the department is committed to maintaining a strong law enforcement presence, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. This recruitment effort is aimed at attracting individuals who are passionate about serving their community, upholding the law, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The Upper Dublin Township Police Department will soon begin the hiring process for entry-level police officers.
And the police department is offering a special behind-the-scenes experience before testing begins to individuals interested in a career in law enforcement on Wednesday, March 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will take place at the Shanis Auditorium at the Upper Dublin Library, 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington.
“This is a great opportunity to learn more about our department, state-of-the-art technology, and specialty units – including drones, UTVs, motorcycles, SWAT, the bike unit, MIRT, and more,” Upper Dublin Police Department wrote.
Applicants will undergo a rigorous selection process that includes a written exam, physical agility test, background investigation, and interviews. The department is looking for candidates who demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and strong communication skills. Prior law enforcement experience is not required, as recruits will receive comprehensive training at a certified police academy. However, individuals with military experience, college degrees in criminal justice, or prior public service experience are encouraged to apply.
If you plan to attend, you can RSVP via email to registration@udpd.us. UDPD is asking anyone to share this invitation with friends, neighbors, or anyone who might be interested in a career in law enforcement.
