Breaking: Upper Dublin high school student struck by vehicle

The Upper Dublin School District is reporting that a high school student was struck by a vehicle on Friday morning at the intersection of Limekiln Pike and Jeffry Drive during secondary school arrival. 

According to Montgomery County Dispatch, the incident occurred at 7:19 a.m. A female was struck while crossing Limekiln Pike and suffered a laceration to her face. 

Crews from Second Alarmers Rescue Squad were notified immediately, and the student's parents escorted them to the hospital for further evaluation.

The school district is reporting that injuries suffered are not life-threatening.
