Inez Henderson Golsonel, 22, of the 900 block of Duncanon Avenue in Philadelphia, faces multiple felony counts after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle in Whitemarsh Township, according to police.
On March 18, at 4:17 p.m. officers from the Whitemarsh Township Police Department were on patrol in the area of the 300 block of Germantown Avenue in the Lafayette Hill section of Whitemarsh Township, according to police. A police officer observed a black Toyota SUV in the area of Germantown Pike and Butler Avenue, and when he checked the vehicle registration through National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the officer discovered that it was stolen out of Philadelphia on March 14, 2025, according to police.
The officer conducted a felony stop of the vehicle in the 4000 block of Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township, according to police. Officers ordered the driver out of the vehicle, and he was taken into custody by Sgt. O’Doherty. The driver was identified as Inez Henderson Golsonel from a credit card that was laying on the floor under the driver’s seat. Golsonel told police that the vehicle was given to him by an unknown friend, according to police.
Whitemarsh police passed the NCIC information on to Northwest Detectives, who confirmed that Golsonel should not in possession of the vehicle, according to poilice.
The stolen vehicle was towed back to the station by Janeway and placed into the Sallyport for further processing by Philadelphia Northwest Detectives, according to police.
