Wissahickon High School will operate virtually on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, after a threat of violence, according to the school district.

Students will be learning from home out of "abundance of caution," the school district said, while school administrators investigate the issue.

According to the school district, a threat of violence was brought to the school administration's attention, however, there is no evidence at this time that the threat is credible.

"WHS students, staff and families have been notified and are aware of the adjustments to tomorrow’s school schedule," the school district wrote.

All other Wissahickon schools will operate on a regular schedule.
