Allied Universal Security Services laying off 72 employees at Conshohocken branch

Allied Universal Security Services, 161 Washington St Suite 600, Conshohocken, plans to lay off dozen so employees at its Conshohocken branch, the company recently announced. 

Allied Universal Security Services filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state it plans to lay off 72 employees, according to a news report.

“Allied Universal is currently undergoing a restructuring of its business operations," the company said in the WARN notice. "As part of this restructuring, certain positions within the company are being phased out. We are looking for other positions for the affected employees. That said, unless alternative arrangements are made, the affected employees’ employment with the company will conclude."

According to the article, layoffs are expected to take place on May 19, 23, and 30; June 6, 20, and 27; July 11 and 18; August 8, 22, and 29; and September 12.

The effected positions include: Senior accountant (two), Staff accountant (two), Treasury analyst (one), Treasury specialist (seven), Benefits service representative (one), Infrastructure engineer (one), Network engineer I (one), Senior software engineer (two), Senior tech support specialist (one), Software development analyst (one), Tech support manager (one), Tech support specialist (three), Accounts payable clerk (one), Senior financial transactions specialist (two), Accounts payable lead specialist (one), Accounts payable specialist (four), Accounts receivable specialist (two), Billing auditor (one), Billing specialist (six), Billing supervision (one), Contract accounting specialist (nine), Employee transactions specialist (four), Financial transactions specialist (seven), Financial transactions supervisor (one), Payroll specialist (seven), Senior accounts payable specialist (two), and Senior billing specialist (one).
